CNN brought on the wife of a deported immigrant in hopes that she would rip President Donald Trump for his immigration policies, but what she did instead is pure gold.
During an interview on Tuesday, Cindy Garcia, whose husband was recently deported back to Mexico, shocked CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin when she defended Trump and the rule of law.
Baldwin set the tone before speaking with Garcia, where she slammed Trump and his “tough” immigration policies that are tearing families apart.
She also played a video clip of the Garcia family crying as their father was being picked up for deportation at an airport.
As reported by The Daily Caller, Baldwin asked Garcia if she was upset with the government for deporting her husband, but she stunned the biased host by saying she doesn’t blame Trump for doing his job.
“I am not upset at our government due to the fact that I am a U.S. citizen and that our laws come first. Our laws are just broken and need to be fixed.”
“I can’t be mad at Trump for doing his job because that is his job to protect us as U.S. citizens from criminals. For the criminals that have come here illegally, they need to go back.”

Baldwin was visibly stunned that Garcia refused to attack Trump, and she even gave her one more chance to do so before ending the segment.
“A lot of people would be critical of this administration and I’m not hearing criticism from you,” Baldwin said, but Garcia refused to take the bait and never once criticized Trump.
Baldwin’s stunt follows several recent embarrassing gaffes by the liberal network.
Earlier this week, CNN smeared Ivanka Trump for posting a Memorial Day photo with her son, saying it was “insensitive” and “tone deaf” because migrant children are experiencing tough times crossing the U.S. border.
Prior to that, CNN contributor April Ryan shared an article on Twitter implying that President Trump’s administration is involved in a child sex-trafficking ring.
CNN’s verbal assault against Trump hit a chilling point just before that when CNN contributor Laurence Tribe said “you shoot to kill” when discussing removing Trump from office.
The network has been allowing its employees to make abhorrent comments about Trump and his administration for awhile, so it’s not surprising that Baldwin was stunned when Garcia refused to take the bait and instead praised the president.
Giving Trump credit for anything is a big no-no on CNN.
