WATCH: Meghan McCain CORNERS James Comey About His Anti-Trump Book

On Tuesday, “The View” contributor Meghan McCain unloaded on former FBI director James Comey after he has begun his Anti-Trump book tour across the country.

In his book “A Higher Loyalty,” Comey makes fun of President Donald Trump’s appearance and admits that his exoneration of Hillary Clinton was swayed by POLITICS.

McCain started off by ripping Comey’s reliance on the phony Steele dossier, which she notes was paid for by Trump’s opponents and has been proven to be completely false.

“We’re trying to get to the bottom of what really happened here and is there any criminal activity with Russia,” she said. “I will say, he’s talking about every decision with Hillary Clinton being made because of politics.”

“Candidates winning elections should make no difference in your decision as the head of the FBI whatsoever,” McCain continued while the audience erupted in applause.

“This just seems like he’s settling scores,” she added.

“He clearly loves the media, and that’s fine if you want to do what we do, but not if you’re the head of the FBI.”

Over the past few days, President Trump has UNLOADED on Comey on Twitter:

Comey drafted the Crooked Hillary exoneration long before he talked to her (lied in Congress to Senator G), then based his decisions on her poll numbers. Disgruntled, he, McCabe, and the others, committed many crimes!

I never asked Comey for Personal Loyalty. I hardly even knew this guy. Just another of his many lies. His “memos” are self serving and FAKE!

Unbelievably, James Comey states that Polls, where Crooked Hillary was leading, were a factor in the handling (stupidly) of the Clinton Email probe. In other words, he was making decisions based on the fact that he thought she was going to win, and he wanted a job. Slimeball!

The big questions in Comey’s badly reviewed book aren’t answered like, how come he gave up Classified Information (jail), why did he lie to Congress (jail), why did the DNC refuse to give Server to the FBI (why didn’t they TAKE it), why the phony memos, McCabe’s $700,000 & more?
