President Donald Trump is pissed about former FBI Director James Comey’s new book, and made that clear after firing off an angry tweet questioning why he hasn’t been punished for leaking confidential information.
On Friday, Trump tweeted that his former National Security Adviser, Michael Flynn, had his life “totally destroyed” while “shadey” Comey can “Leak and Lie” and make “lots of money from a third rate book.”
So General Michael Flynn’s life can be totally destroyed while Shadey James Comey can Leak and Lie and make lots of money from a third rate book (that should never have been written). Is that really the way life in America is supposed to work? I don’t think so!

The president’s tweet comes after Comey’s personal memos were released to the public on Thursday night. The memos were written by Comey regarding meetings with Trump, and were leaked to the media after being handed over to Congress.
As noted by The Daily Wire, Comey’s own memos reveal they were classified, which means he likely broke the law by giving them to a friend last year to leak to The New York Times.
“Comey said he hadn’t broken the law by showing the memos to a third-party, because they were unclassified personal ‘recollection.'”
“But the letter from the DOJ to Congress states, “Therefore, pursuant to your request, we are providing the requested memoranda in both redacted and unredacted formats for your convenience…The unredacted documents are classified, and we will provide those in a separate, secure transmittal to the House Security office tomorrow.”
“This seems to suggest that Comey was wrong about the level of classification the memos required, meaning he could have broken the law — although Comey says he only leaked one of the memos to his friend, and that one was unclassified.”
Flynn pled guilty last December to charges of making false statements to the FBI about communications he had with Russia as part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.
So if Flynn lied to the FBI and was charged, what about Comey?
According to new Rasmussen poll, 46 percent of Americans believe Comey should be prosecuted for leaking information to the media while he was leading the FBI.
And as Trump pointed out, Flynn’s life as been completely ruined for doing the exact same things as Comey.
