CNN Is Getting Crushed In The Ratings; And The Numbers Are Downright Embarrassing

CNN may claim to be America’s “most trusted newsroom,” but it appears just about everyone disagrees with that statement.

According to AdWeek, the ratings for cable news are in from last week, and CNN’s numbers are downright embarrassing.


Unsurprising to many, Fox News marked the 14th consecutive week as the number one cable TV network with total viewers in both prime time and total day.

MSNBC came in second place behind Fox News, but CNN finished in a very distant third place.

Here’s the top five total day viewers:

1. FNC (1,534,000)
2. MSNBC (1,125,000)
3. CNN (863,000)
4. NICK (838,000)
5. HGTV (777,000)


Fox News is clearly dominating cable news ratings overall, and nearly doubled the average of total viewers than CNN.

CNN’s ratings are so bad that Nickelodeon and and Home and Garden TV are almost beating the liberal network in the ratings for cable news programs.

In first quarter of 2018, CNN was ranked seventh overall for total viewership among all basic cable networks. CNN was beat out by ESPN, Nickelodeon, and HGTV.

Amazing — so it turns out being anti-Trump nonstop, all day, every week is turning viewers away. Who would have thought it?

When the network isn’t pushing conspiracy theories about the president or interviewing adult film star Stormy Daniels in a Florida str*p club, they are completely obsessed with running anti-Trump stories and coverage.


With coverage like that, it’s no wonder more and more Americans are fleeing the fake news network and continuing to watch Fox News.
