The Democratic National Committee filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit on Friday against President Donald Trump’s campaign, WikiLeaks, and Russia, alleging a conspiracy to influence the 2016 presidential election.
DNC Chairman Tom Perez claims in the lawsuit there was an “unprecedented” effort from the Trump campaign to collude with WikiLeaks and the Russian government to defeat Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, according to Fox News.
The “unprecedented” reason is nothing more than the latest stunt from democrats who cannot fathom that Trump is the duly elected president.
There are major issues with the lawsuit and the salacious claims it alleges. For starters, the United States intelligence community, Congress, and Special Counsel Robert Mueller have not produced a single shred of evidence proving that Trump colluded with Russia to influence the election.
In fact, recently released memos from former FBI Director James Comey reveals he explicitly wrote that Trump never broke the law or obstructed justice.
The lawsuit alleges WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange, stole the documents and emails from the DNC on behalf of the Russian government. It then claims WikiLeaks and Russia worked with the Trump campaign through back-channels to undermine Clinton’s campaign, which is why they claim she lost.
