We’ve all heard the phrase “Put your money where your mouth is”, and now, Tennessee Titans WR Rishard Matthews just might get a chance to actually do it.
While responding to a fans question on Twitter this week, Matthews threatened to QUIT PLAYING FOOTBALL if he was “forced” to stand for the National Anthem.
Yeah right, buddy. Like you’re going to give up your $5 million per year salary because you have to stand and honor our country? How disgusting is that?!

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Rishard Matthews threatened to quit the NFL if the league prevents him from protesting during the national anthem.
According to since-deleted tweets, Matthews was asked if he would stand or remain in the locker room if the NFL made rules preventing players from protesting.
‘No I will be done playing football,’ Matthews wrote in a tweet, which was captured by NFL blogger Paul Kuharsky.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell previously announced that league owners will meet next week to address player protests, which is something President Donald Trump has implored the league to do for over a month.

We all know damn well that this fool wouldn’t give up his million-dollar lifestyle because he was “forced” to stand for the Anthem. That’s like you walking out on your job because you were “forced” to uphold company behavior standards.
It makes zero sense and frankly, this guy is full of it.
