President Donald Trump unleashed four massive tweets on Wednesday morning, taking dead aim at the “Criminal Deep State” following revelations that the FBI embedded a spy into his 2016 presidential campaign.
As noted by Zero Hedge, it was recently revealed that Stefan Halper, a professor at the University of Cambridge, has been identified as the spy that was planted in Trump’s campaign.
Halper is a former CIA operative, a current informant for the FBI, and has worked with the Clintons and their foundation in the past.
Following news that the FBI, under former President Barack Obama, planted an informant into his campaign, he slammed the “Criminal Deep State.”
Look how things have turned around on the Criminal Deep State. They go after Phony Collusion with Russia, a made up Scam, and end up getting caught in a major SPY scandal the likes of which this country may never have seen before! Minutes later, Trump cited Fox News senior judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano, who said the FBI was clearly spying on the Trump campaign:

The president went on to say “SPYGATE” could be one of the biggest scandals in modern political history.

Trump then blistered former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, using a quote from his interview on Tuesday during ABC’s “The View.”
The president made it clear he is “not happy” about the FBI spying on his campaign and using an informant.
On Tuesday, the Department of Justice announced that it had instructed its inspector general to investigate any alleged “impropriety or political motivation” in the FBI’s investigation into alleged collusion between Trump’s campaign and Russia.
Earlier this week, Trump met with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray in the Oval Office, where they agreed to allow Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s investigation to include “irregularities” and potential abuses of power with the FBI or DOJ’s “tactics concerning the Trump campaign.”
According to Fox News, White House Chief of Staff John Kelly will “immediately set up a meeting with the FBI, DOJ, and DNI together with congressional leaders to review highly classified and other information they have requested.”
Time will tell what happens next, but Trump has made it abundantly clear that if top officials at the FBI and DOJ abused their power and acted illegally to spy on his campaign, he’s going to expose it all for everyone to see.
