WOAH: Creepy Report Indicates Why So Many GOP Are Retiring…

Alabama Rep. Mo Brooks suggested during a radio interview that GOP representatives are retiring in droves (in part) because of assassination fears.

While it seems insane that this could be the case in our modern era, the violence rising on the left has become increasingly disturbing. No one wants to be the next Franz Ferdinand!

“The Dale Jackson Show” hosted an interview with Brooks, discussing the first Congressional Baseball Game practice — after a shooting that occurred last year leaving Majority Whip Steve Scalise severely injured.

Brooks commented on the safety precautions taken before the practice. “We have multiple rings of security, plainclothes, uniform, Capitol Police, other police. There was a medical vehicle nearby just in case there was a copycat.”

While Brooks mentioned there are multiple factors that contributed to so many Republicans leaving the House, the fear of violence was a dominant one.

“One of the things that’s concerning me is the assassination risk may become a factor,” he said.

Brooks referenced many members of the Republican baseball team who are retiring, including Sen. Jeff Flake and Reps. Ryan Costello, Dennis Ross, Pat Meehan, and Tom Rooney.

“You have to wonder with that kind of disproportionate retirement number whether what happened in June played a factor,” he said. “Notice a trend here? I have a congressman who is a friend here who has a three-year-old daughter whose daughter was threatened with murder.”

Brooks also brought up the great point that the “socialist Bernie Sanders wing of society” was pushing an agenda that would only lead to communist levels of violence.

“There are a growing number of leftists who believe the way to resolve this is not at the ballot box but through threats and sometimes through violence and assassinations,” he stated. “I don’t think any of these people who are retiring would say that, but just looking at the numbers. That’s out of whack.”
