One Day After Participating In Anti-Gun March, Al Sharpton’s Half-Brother Charged In A Shooting Murder

You seriously can’t make this stuff up.

Just ONE day after participating in the March For Our Lives anti-gun event, Al Sharpton’s half brother, Rev. Kenneth Glasgow, was charged in a Sunday shooting in Dothan, Alabama.

Glasgow, an ex-convict who’s been fighting for voting rights for convicts, decided to forget about what he just marched for and drove a car connected to a shooting murder.

According to the Washington Examiner, Dothan police said that Rev. Kenneth Glasgow was the driver in a car linked to the murder of 23-year-old Breunia Jennings of Dothan by passenger Jamie Townes, 26.

Dothan Police Chief Steve Parrish said that Glasgow and Townes allegedly searched for Jennings, who they believe had stolen Townes’ car. When they found her, Townes allegedly shot Jennings as she drove, hitting her in the head. She died later.

While police do not believe Glasgow, 52, was the triggerman, under Alabama’s aiding and abetting law, he is is culpable for murder.

Sharpton and Glasgow have been activists on projects together. Glasgow is an ex-convict who started an Alabama ministry called The Ordinary People Society. He has recently been campaigning to restore voting rights for convicts.

His group participated in the Saturday anti-gun march in Dothan. “The shooting occurred late Sunday night. I do not know where he was prior to the incident. It has been reported by several local outlets that he attended a similar event on Saturday,” said a police spokesman.

The police Chief Steve Parrish also said, “Instead of him notifying law enforcement, he took matter in his own hands and jumped in Mr. Glasgow’s vehicle to find Breunia Jennings.”

Why do things like this always seem to happen?

I’m sure we won’t hear much from CNN about this, however.

On Saturday, the March For Our Lives took place across the country, organized by the survivors of the shooting with the help of Democratic groups like Planned Parenthood and was funded by celebrities across the board.
