Many companies, organizations, and people are still reacting to the controversy around the NFL. Among them is the store Lowe’s who decided to show what means to be a true patriot. They showed that they appreciate and respect the military people who risked so much just to keep the American citizens safe.

According to Conservative Post, “Lowe’s is an American company that has made it known in the past that they are proud to be a part of this great nation. They have continually shown their support for our military, and now they have made an announcement that will help those in our military as well as their families. The company will be changing their military discount program in order to improve it for those defending our country.

They will be expanding the program to include more members of the military as well as their family members. I think we can all agree that those who put their lives aside to defend our freedom deserve everything they can possibly get.”

All military families can take advantage of this discount and use it online. They will also receive free shipping on the items.

The spokeswoman for Lowe’s, Megan Lewis stated: “The discount is linked to a MyLowes account, which can be shared by a household. Once the service member signs up for the discount program, it will be linked to a MyLowes card that can also be used by their spouse.”

As reported: “Lowe’s has explained that they will not be asking for proof of ID anymore because they feel that it makes the process more complicated for the military members. This program change should help both military members and their families all over the country.”

Of course, there will be people who think that this isn’t fair because they cannot understand what these service members have actually accomplished for them.

Lowe’s probably lost some customers, but it is nothing compared to what they’ve gained. They showed respect and appreciation, which goes a long way for the American people.
