YES: Trump Rages Against Peter Strzok, James Comey In Mega-Viral Tweetstorm

Loading...

President Donald Trump raged against FBI agent Peter Strzok and fired FBI Director James Comey on Friday morning, saying their vile behavior and actions brought disgrace to the FBI.

On Thursday, Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz released a 500-page report detailing the bureau’s handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

In part, the report found that Comey was “insubordinate” and violated several bureau policies in the investigation. Strzok, the anti-Trump agent also marred in numerous scandals, spoke about preventing Trump from becoming president.

Trump was not happy about these revelations, and unloaded on Comey and Strzok in a brutal tweetstorm:

Trump was referring to an email dated Aug. 8, 2016, where Strzok wrote to Lisa Page that they didn’t need to worry about Trump winning the election, saying “we will stop it” from happening.

“He’s not ever going to become president, right? Right?!’ Page wrote to Strzok.

Strzok responded: “No. No he’s not. We’ll stop it.”

Strzok served as the No. 2 counterintelligence analyst at the FBI before being demoted last year and fired from Special Counsel Robert Mueller‘s team after an internal probe found that he had sent hundreds of anti-Trump text messages to Page, a former lawyer at the FBI with whom he was having an affair. Page abruptly resigned earlier this month amid the numerous allegations against her.

In Trump’s second tweet, he called Comey “a total disaster” and ripped “his minions” for standing by him as he tarnished the reputation of the FBI.

In addition to the report stating that he “deviated” from standard practices at the agency and acted “insubordinate” with the Clinton investigation, Comey was also busted for using a personal Google email account numerous times to send and receive classified information.

“Comey will now officially go down as the worst leader, by far, in the history of the FBI,” Trump wrote, saying he had “good instincts” to fire him.

Comey and Strzok alone prove that the highest levels of the bureau were corrupt.

While these top agents were handling the investigation into Trump for unproven allegations of collusion with Russia, they were simultaneously smearing him, speaking about preventing him from winning the election, and displayed numerous instances of extreme anti-Trump bias.

Trump had every right to rage against the sickening levels of corruption that took place at Obama’s FBI for years, and much more is likely still hidden below the surface.
